Structure of the Teaching Materials - Let's Learn Chinese Textbook:  

i. Book includes A, B volume, each volume includes 6 lessons, total had 12 lessons, and the major sections of each lesson are: 

1.Learning core: dialogues, vocabulary words / phrases, Chinese characters (two subsections: recognizing / reading and practicing writing), origins of Chinese characters, and grammatical structures. 

2.In-class practice: Includes recognition, reading, and writing practice of the lesson’s Chinese characters, as well as task-based activities, games, and pronunciation review. 

3.Workbook: Every lesson includes four types of practice—listening, speaking, reading, and writing—for take-home or after-class practice. 

4.Vocabulary Words / Phrases index: All the vocabulary words / phrases of the book as appendix in the last pages of the book. 

 ii. Learning content of Book: 

1.Vocabulary words / phrases. 

2.Chinese characters. 

3.Sentence patterns / Grammatical structures.

 A. 教材，分為 AB 兩本，共 12 課： 1. 學習核心部分：課文對話、生詞 / 短語、漢字（分習寫與認讀兩部分）、漢字 來源、語法句型。 2. 課堂練習部分：包括認讀及習寫該課漢字、任務活動及遊戲活動、語音複習。 3. 作業本：每課均包括聽、說、讀、寫四種練習，課後也可輕鬆練習。 4. 生詞 / 短語索引：列於課本後附錄。

 B. 教材計： 1. 生詞 / 短語量  2. 漢字量  3. 語法句型量

For the 2025-2026 school year, class starts on 9/07/2025 and ends on 6/07/2026.

A weekly Sunday class from 9:00 AM - 11:50 AM, from September current year to next June.

Transfer students need to attend the placement test until further notice. (Transfer students from other TzuChi Academies with transcripts do not need to take the placement test.)

轉學生需參加 編班考試( 等待通知)。(由其他慈濟人文學校轉入之學生，慿學校成績單，不需參加編班考試。)

Classes may be canceled if less than 12 students are enrolled. We reserve the right to cancel any class without prior notice.

報名人數若不足 12 人，本校保留開班決定權。

Parent “Still thoughts” culture education: parents in the school year must attend at least six (6) “Still thoughts” culture education or school activities such as the orientation, the opening ceremony, the parent/teacher conference, the Chinese New Year Celebration, graduation ceremony, environmental protection awareness, parenting lectures, sign language ...

家長人文課：家長於學年度內至少必須參加六次校方舉辦之人文課或全校活動。如：家長說明會、開學典禮、家長/老師會議、新春聯歡、五月浴佛/三恩節、結業/畢業式、環保、親子/人文講座、手語…。

Uniform: Students are required to wear uniforms during classes, which can be purchased at the beginning of the school year. Navy Blue Khaki trousers and white sneakers may be purchased at stores such as Kohl’s, Target or Walmart.

制服：學生在上課時必须穿慈濟制服，請在開學日購買。
